Founding Engineer for Cyber Security Startup

Title: Founding Engineer (Senior Full-Stack + DevOps) - Early-Stage Cybersecurity Startup I'm the founder of an early-stage cybersecurity company. You'd be the first engineer - owning architecture and building the core product with me, not picking up tickets. High autonomy, high trust, direct impact on what ships. What you'll do - Architect and build the product end-to-end (frontend, backend, infra) - Own CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and deployments - Design for high-load, data-intensive workloads from day one - Make pragmatic architecture calls and set our engineering standards - Lead 1-2 additional engineers as the team grows Must-have - 5+ years building production software - Able to work as a solo developer - has built a product from scratch (0 to 1) - Strong full-stack: React + (Node.js or Python) - Solid DevOps: CI/CD, containers, cloud (AWS), infrastructure-as-code - Proven high-load / data-intensive systems experience - Reliability-minded - you test and harden, not just ship (in security, reliability is a safety property) - Strong written English and async communication - [X+ hours overlap with [your timezone]] Nice-to-have - Information security / secure-coding background - Previous experience with a cybersecurity product is a strong plus - AWS certification Process 1. 30-min intro call (fit + motivation) 2. 120-min live system design (real-time) 3.
