Cloud Security Engineer for AWS and Azure

Cloud Security Engineer What We're Looking For This role provides hands-on cloud security engineering to support data centre to AWS migration programmes, ensuring workloads move safely into the Landing Zone/Control Tower model with the right guardrails, controls, and operational readiness. Individual work closely with Cloud Security Architect and assist in defining and implementing security building blocks and controls in order to ensure migration designs meet required security outcomes. You will require strong experience is expected in Cloud knowledge more specifically AWS security fundamentals and landing zone controls, Implementing core cloud security controls (secure connectivity, IAM, data protection, and logging/monitoring), Collaborating across delivery teams to remove blockers and keep migration delivery on track. Help up Build Our Cloud Security Game Plan Help design and roll out our cloud security framework with IT Systems, SOC leadership, and GRC Push best practices and actually put controls in place and Catch Bad Stuff & Respond Fast Help GRC tick the boxes for ISO27001, NCSC Cloud Security Principles, and SOC2 Read what security tools spit out and turn those alerts into actual action items devs can understand. Help People Get Better at Security What You Need to Bring Real-world cloud security experience—you've done this before Know your way around frameworks like CSA STAR and NCSC Cloud Security Principles Can script your way out of trouble (Python, PowerShell, Bash) Got hands-on with: Azure: Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Sentinel, AWS: Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM, Config, CloudTrail, CloudWatch Understand how cloud incident response works Clued up on multi-cloud security basics Bonus Points If You Have... Terraform or other IaC experience Cloud networking know-how (firewalls, NSGs, VPCs, private endpoints) Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO27001, SOC2, NCSC) Certs: AZ-500, SC-100, AWS Security Specialty, Please note that this is a short-medium term project.
