Website Performance Review

We are looking for a senior Next.js, React engineer to review the current website and identify the main causes of slow loading, large SSR payloads, image issues, external API bottlenecks, and hydration instability. The goal is to validate current performance assumptions, prioritize issues by impact, and provide a practical optimization roadmap. Review Areas -SSR payloads: Check whether Home and Search pages send unnecessary property gallery data for listing cards. Recommend the minimum data required for initial render. -Images: Review next/image configuration, responsive sizes, hero/card loading priority, oversized downloads, blurry thumbnail fallbacks, and LCP impact. -Filters: Review whether external calls such as -GetNeighborhoodsList block /vacation-rentals rendering. -Recommend a Supabase, edge-cache, or read-model strategy for filter options. There is potential for follow-up implementation work based on the review findings and agreed priorities.
