WordPress Site Debugging and Troubleshooting

We are building a childcare marketplace platform (The Nanny Project) using WordPress and Directorist plugin. We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to help us stabilize, integrate, and optimize key functionality. Scope of Work: 1. Fix plugin conflicts, resolve login issues and improve overall site stability 2. Ensure smooth functioning of Directorist (listing creation, user flows, dashboard) 3. Integrate payment gateway (Razorpay or Stripe) for paid listings or subscriptions 4. Set up CRM integration (via API, webhook, or plugin-based integration) 5. Optimize WPForms workflows (lead capture, automation, notifications) 6. Improve user registration and login flow (possibly using membership plugin) 7. Ensure mobile responsiveness and performance improvements 8. Test end-to-end flows (user signup → listing → payment → confirmation) Deliverables: 1. Fully functional, tested website flows 2. Clean integration of payment and CRM systems 3. Documentation of what was fixed/implemented 4. Recommendations for future scalability (brief, practical) Requirements: 1. Proven experience with WordPress plugin-heavy websites 2. Experience with marketplace or directory platforms (Directorist preferred) 3. Strong debugging skills (PHP, JS, plugin conflicts) 4. Experience with payment gateway integrations 5. Ability to work with existing setup (no unnecessary rebuilds) Timeline Expectations Initial audit: 1-2 days Core fixes + integrations: 5- 6 days Testing + final refinements: 2–3 days Total expected timeline: 1.5–2 weeks Milestone 1: Audit + issue list Milestone 2: Fix core functionality Milestone 3: Integrations (payment + CRM) Milestone 4: Testing + handover Budget Framing This is a fixed-scope project, not open-ended hourly work Budget range: $100–$150 (₹10k–₹15k) Communication & Professionalism Expectations 1. Daily or alternate-day updates (short, structured) 2. Use simple reporting format: What was done, What issues found, What’s next Things to keep in mind- Must test before marking tasks complete Must ask before making major changes Availability for quick WhatsApp or Upwork chat clarification (if needed) Quick Loom video update every 3 days.
