We are looking for an experienced AI/automation developer to build an intelligent business process automation system that integrates with our Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Calendar, Drive).
What we need:
We want an AI agent that can handle repetitive business tasks automatically:
Invoice Processing -- When a PDF invoice arrives in our Google Drive or email, the system should extract key data (vendor, amount, date, line items), validate it against our internal policies, log it to a Google Sheet, and send a confirmation email.
Email Triage -- Incoming emails should be automatically classified (support request, sales inquiry, internal) and either drafted a reply or routed to the correct team member.
Appointment Scheduling -- When a scheduling request comes in, the agent should check calendar availability, propose times, and create the event once confirmed.
Key Requirements:
Python backend with LangGraph or similar agent framework
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to give the agent context about our company policies, contacts, and templates
Google Apps Script triggers to kick off workflows automatically
A web dashboard where we can see workflow runs, logs, and results in real-time
Human-in-the-loop approval for sensitive actions (sending external emails, large payments)
Technical Stack (preferred):
Python, FastAPI, LangGraph
OpenAI API (GPT-4o)
ChromaDB or similar vector database for RAG
Google APIs + Google Apps Script
Next.js or React frontend for the dashboard
Deliverables:
Fully functional automation backend with at least 3 workflow types
Google Apps Script integration for automatic triggers
Web dashboard showing workflow execution and logs
Documentation and setup guide
Source code with clean architecture
