Senior React Native Developer – AI & Voice EdTech App for Children

We are looking for a senior React Native developer to build the MVP of an AI-powered companion for children aged 6–11. This is not a simple chatbot or homework app. Our goal is to create a voice-first AI companion that children genuinely enjoy interacting with every day. The AI should help with homework, answer questions, encourage curiosity, build confidence, and create a safe and engaging learning experience. The project includes: * iOS and Android mobile application (React Native) * AI companion powered by OpenAI and/or Claude * Voice interaction (speech-to-text and text-to-speech) * Conversational learning and homework assistance * Child-friendly user experience * Parent dashboard with progress tracking and session summaries * Basic gamification and rewards * Backend integration (Firebase, Supabase, or similar) We are looking for someone with proven experience building and shipping production mobile applications, integrating LLM APIs, and making strong technical and product decisions.
