Senior WordPress Developer & UI/UX Designer

We are Saint Cyprus Management, a property management company based in Cyprus specializing in short-term holiday rentals. Our website is the core of our business and handles: Property listings Direct online bookings Stripe payments Custom booking forms SEO optimization Guest and owner communication Various custom WordPress functionalities The website has already been developed by an external agency. We are now looking for an experienced developer who can fully take over the technical maintenance and future development of the project. This is intended to become a long-term partnership. - Responsibilities: You will be responsible for both the frontend and backend of our WordPress website, including: Maintaining and improving the existing website Developing new features Bug fixing Performance optimization WordPress updates Plugin updates Security improvements Database maintenance Server and hosting maintenance Cloudflare configuration DNS and SSL management Backup management Payment gateway maintenance (Stripe) Working alongside our SEO specialist to ensure all changes remain SEO-friendly Implementing UX/UI improvements Monitoring website performance and uptime Troubleshooting issues quickly when required -Required Skills: WordPress: 5+ years of WordPress development experience Custom theme development Custom plugin development Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Custom Post Types (CPT) WordPress REST API WordPress hooks & filters Backend: Advanced PHP MySQL API integrations Stripe integrations Cron jobs Security best practices Frontend: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript jQuery Responsive design DevOps / Hosting Git SSH Linux server basics Cloudflare cPanel/Plesk DNS SSL Website backups Staging environments - UI/UX & Design In addition to development, we're looking for someone with a strong eye for design and user experience. You do not need to be a professional graphic designer, but you should be able to: Design clean, modern landing pages and website sections. Create wireframes and page layouts. Improve user experience and conversion. Design pages directly in Figma (preferred) or within WordPress. Recommend better layouts and user flows rather than simply implementing instructions. Ensure all new pages follow a consistent design language. Nice to have: Figma UI/UX Design Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Experience with: Vacation rental websites Airbnb Booking.com Vrbo Property Management Systems (PMS) -What We're Looking For: We are not looking for someone who simply builds WordPress websites. We are looking for someone who can become our technical partner and take ownership of the website.
