AI/ML Solution Architect for Custom LMS

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Solution Architect to design and plan two advanced AI assistants for our custom Learning Management System (LMS). The core objective of this role is to architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective AI solutions that enhance user engagement and improve learning outcomes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML architecture, LLM orchestration, and modern data pipelines, preferably with a background in educational technology. Key Responsibilities - System Architecture Design: Create comprehensive architectural diagrams and technical workflows for dual AI pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with our existing custom LMS infrastructure. - Technology Stack Selection: Recommend the optimal blend of Large Language Models (LLMs), orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), and specialized storage (e.g., vector databases). - Data Pipeline Strategy: Design robust and secure workflows for dynamic external data ingestion, unstructured data processing, document chunking, embedding generation, and high-speed retrieval. - Conversational Agent Strategy: Outline the system prompts, session state/memory management (short-term and long-term), and agentic routing required for a highly contextual, persistent user-facing assistant. - Performance & Security Planning: Provide actionable strategies for minimizing API token costs, optimizing latency, and ensuring strict user data privacy and system security.
