Part-Time WordPress Developer (Gutenberg/FSE/VIP) - No Agencies, Dedicated Central US Hours

We are seeking an experienced part-time WordPress developer to assist with ongoing development, maintenance, and improvements across WordPress projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with: - WordPress and WordPress VIP development(if not familiar with VIP, please check it and understand how is it different than normal WP development) - Gutenberg, Full Site Editing, block themes, patterns, and Query Loop - PHP, JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS - Git, GitHub, WP-CLI, Jira, and Bash - Responsive design, accessibility, security, and performance - WordPress Coding Standards, testing, debugging, and code reviews - AI-assisted development tools and coding agents(shell based only) - Technical documentation and structured development workflows Requirements: - Available for dedicated work during Central US office hours - Strong written and verbal communication - Able to work independently and provide clear progress updates - Comfortable following established coding, documentation, and Git workflows - Part-time availability with the potential for ongoing work - Individual applicants only—no agencies or subcontracting Please include your WordPress portfolio, GitHub profile, availability, hourly rate, and relevant WordPress VIP experience.
