WordPress PMPro PayPal Integration Expert

We are seeking an expert to resolve a membership activation issue on our WordPress site using Paid Member Subscriptions and PayPal. Project Overview We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer with strong expertise in Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro) and PayPal integrations to troubleshoot and resolve a payment synchronization issue on our live website. Issue Description Our website uses Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro) for course memberships and PayPal as the payment gateway. Current behavior: Users successfully complete payment through PayPal. Payment amount is deducted from the customer's account. The membership remains in a pending/token state. Membership access is not activated automatically. Membership is activated only after an administrator manually reviews/rechecks the payment in the backend. This indicates that the payment confirmation handshake/webhook/IPN process between PayPal and PMPro is not functioning correctly. What's Happening When a member completes payment through PayPal, PayPal is supposed to send an automatic notification to the website to confirm the payment and trigger membership activation. When manually hitting "Recheck Payment Status" works — it forces the site to go ask PayPal directly. But it is not happening by default.
