AI Automation Engineer

About Us I own a high-end residential interior design firm and am looking for a talented AI automation specialist to become an ongoing resource for my business. I already use ChatGPT and Claude extensively, but I need someone who can help me go far beyond basic prompting. I'm looking for someone who understands AI, automation, APIs, web scraping, databases, and lightweight software development. Some projects will simply involve writing sophisticated prompts. Others will require custom coding and building internal AI tools. This is not a one-time project. If we're a good fit, I'd like to develop a long-term working relationship. Project Examples Project 1: Automating Invoices (Simple) I want to automate our invoice workflow. Examples may include: Creating invoices from purchase information Automatically formatting invoices Reducing repetitive manual work Connecting data between spreadsheets, PDFs, QuickBooks, or other systems Using AI where appropriate I'm open to the best technical solution. Project 2: AI Vendor Product Search Engine (More Advanced) This is the larger project. As an interior designer, I work with hundreds of furniture and lighting vendors. Every vendor has its own website, making product searches incredibly time consuming. I want to build a private AI-powered search system that allows me to search across all of my vendors from one place. For example, if I search: "48-inch walnut nightstand" the system should search every vendor website I've added and return matching products. Ideally, I'd also like to filter by things like: Category (nightstands, sofas, dining tables, lighting, etc.) Dimensions Width Height Depth Finish Material Color Price Lead time Manufacturer Availability Country of origin Indoor vs. outdoor Commercial vs. residential Customizable options Eventually I'd like the system to become smarter by using AI to understand natural language searches rather than relying only on exact keywords.
