AI Developer to Build a Retail AI Platform

Job Description We are building an AI platform for the retail sector, and we are looking for a skilled AI developer to help bring it to life. This is a hands-on build role. You will work with our team to design, develop, and deploy the core AI features that power the platform. About the project The platform will help retail businesses use AI across their operations. Think smarter product discovery, better customer support, and data-driven decisions. We want a solution that is reliable, scalable, and easy to integrate with common retail systems. What you will build A product recommendation engine that personalizes suggestions for each shopper. An AI chatbot for customer support and product queries. Demand and inventory forecasting using historical sales data. A search feature that understands natural language and product intent. An analytics layer that turns raw data into clear insights for store owners. Responsibilities Design and develop the AI models and features listed above. Integrate the AI services with our platform through clean APIs. Work with product and engineering to scope features and set timelines. Optimize models for accuracy, speed, and cost Deploy to the cloud and support testing and iteration. Required skills Strong Python and experience building AI or machine learning features. Hands-on work with LLMs and APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic. Experience with recommendation systems or personalization. Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain and vector databases. Cloud deployment experience, AWS preferred Ability to write clean, well-documented, production-ready code. Nice to have Prior work on retail or e-commerce projects. Experience with demand forecasting or time-series models. Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD. Full-stack ability to support integration work.
