Experienced Asterisk & VICIdial Developer for Installation, Customization, and Advanced VoIP Solutions** ## Job Description We are looking for an experienced **Asterisk and VICIdial Developer** with strong expertise in designing, deploying, customizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade VoIP solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Asterisk, VICIdial, SIP technologies, and custom application development. ### Scope of Work The selected freelancer will be responsible for one or more of the following: * Complete installation, configuration, and security hardening of **Asterisk** servers. * Design and implement dial plans ranging from simple office PBX systems to carrier-grade environments. * Develop advanced **AGI scripts** for dynamic call routing, IVR logic, automation, and custom workflows. * Integrate Asterisk with third-party applications, CRMs, APIs, and enterprise systems. * Build custom applications and modules on top of the Asterisk platform. * Configure and optimize auto-dialing and mass outbound dialing campaigns. * Set up and manage SIP trunks, failover routing, load balancing, and call quality optimization. * Troubleshoot VoIP, SIP, RTP, NAT, codec, and call routing issues. * Design and develop custom **VICIdial skins, themes, dashboards, and UI enhancements**. * Customize VICIdial workflows, reports, and agent interfaces as required. ### Required Skills * Expert-level knowledge of **Asterisk** * Strong experience with **VICIdial** * SIP, RTP, PJSIP, and VoIP networking * Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) * AGI scripting (PHP, Python, Perl, or similar) * Dial plan development * MySQL/MariaDB * API integrations (REST/Webhooks) * PBX deployment and troubleshooting * Security hardening and performance optimization ### Preferred Qualifications * Experience deploying call center environments. * Knowledge of predictive dialing and outbound campaign optimization. * Experience integrating Asterisk/VICIdial with CRM platforms. * Familiarity with HA (High Availability), clustering, and failover architectures. * Ability to optimize systems handling thousands of concurrent calls. ### Proposal Requirements Please include the following in your proposal: 1.
