Consulting: Guided UAT Setup Walkthrough (Supabase + Stripe + Vercel)

Overview -------- I’m building Uphill, a web-first social goal-accountability app (Ionic React + Supabase + Stripe). The application code, database migrations, Edge Functions, and step-by-step documentation are already complete in GitHub. I’m looking for an experienced developer to guide me through UAT (staging) environment setup via live screen-share sessions. I will share my screen, perform all actions in my own accounts, and run CLI commands myself. You walk me through each step, explain what we’re doing, and help troubleshoot if something fails. Setup will be split across 2 sessions. This is NOT a “build it for me” job. I am NOT granting admin access to my Supabase, Stripe, or Vercel accounts. You guide; I execute. App stack --------- - Frontend: Ionic React 8, Vite, TypeScript (folder: uphill-ionic/) - Backend: Supabase (Auth, Postgres + RLS, Storage, Edge Functions) - Billing: Stripe Checkout — Test mode for UAT - Hosting: Vercel Preview deployment from git branch `uat` - Repo: GitHub (documentation and migrations included) What we will set up together (UAT only) --------------------------------------- Following the repo’s UAT_SETUP_RUNBOOK.md: Session 1 (~90–120 min) — Backend - Create Supabase UAT project (security wizard settings) - Supabase CLI: link project, apply migrations (db push) - Deploy 4 Edge Functions (Stripe + reminders) - Configure Supabase secrets (Stripe test keys, APP_URL, etc.) - Stripe Test mode: product/price ($4.99/mo), webhook endpoint - Verify webhook and basic API connectivity Session 2 (~60–90 min) — Frontend + validation - Vercel: import repo, root directory uphill-ionic, Preview env vars on `uat` branch - Supabase Auth redirect URLs for UAT domain - Deploy and smoke-test hosted UAT - Walk through key flows from UAT_TEST_PLAN.md (signup, friends, checkout with test card) - Brief Q&A and “what’s left before Production” overview Optional follow-up (async, ~30 min if needed) - Troubleshoot issues discovered after sessions - Answer questions about promoting to Production later Out of scope ------------ - Production Supabase or Stripe Live setup - New feature development or code changes (unless a small fix is required to unblock setup — discuss first) - Native iOS/Android apps - Twilio/Resend SMS/email reminders (skip for initial UAT) Documentation provided (you will use these on the call) ------------------------------------------------------ - uphill-ionic/docs/UAT_SETUP_RUNBOOK.md — primary checklist - uphill-ionic/docs/SECRETS_INVENTORY.md - uphill-ionic/docs/SUPABASE_PROJECT_SETUP.md - uphill-ionic/docs/UAT_TEST_PLAN.md - uphill-ionic/docs/UAT.md, BILLING.md, ARCHITECTURE.md The git branch `uat` already exists. Required experience ----------------- - Supabase CLI: link, db push, secrets set, functions deploy - Stripe Test mode: Checkout, webhooks, signing secrets - Vercel: Preview vs Production env scopes; Vite build-time VITE_* variables - Comfortable leading a non-expert through terminal and dashboard steps clearly Ideal consultant traits ----------------------- - Has done live client walkthroughs / pair setup before - Can work from existing documentation (not reinvent the process) - Patient, clear communicator; checks understanding at each checkpoint - Sends a pre-session prep list before Session 1 What I will have ready before Session 1 --------------------------------------- - GitHub repo cloned locally - Node.js 20+ and Supabase CLI installed - Accounts created: Supabase, Stripe, Vercel - Runbook open; stable internet; screen-share via Zoom/Google Meet Deliverables ------------ 1. Two completed live sessions (recorded on my side) 2. Working UAT URL by end of Session 2 (or clear plan if blocked by external propagation) 3.
