Full-Stack Developer with Accounting Systems & AI Development Experience We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to help build an internal accounting and business management platform. This is not a traditional development role. We are specifically looking for someone who is highly proficient in AI-assisted software development and can use modern AI tools to rapidly build high-quality software while maintaining strong engineering standards. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has expertise in three key areas: 1. Accounting Systems You must understand how accounting software works end-to-end, including: General Ledger Chart of Accounts Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Bank Reconciliation Journal Entries Financial Reporting Balance Sheets Profit & Loss Statements Cash Flow Reporting Audit Trails Financial Controls You should understand both the accounting workflows and the technical architecture behind accounting platforms. 2. Full-Stack Development Strong experience with: React / Next.js Node.js TypeScript PostgreSQL API Development Authentication & Permissions Cloud Infrastructure System Architecture Database Design You must be capable of building scalable, secure, and maintainable software. 3. AI-Assisted Development This is a critical requirement. We expect the successful candidate to be highly skilled in using AI coding tools such as: Claude Code Cursor GitHub Copilot OpenAI tools Similar AI development platforms The goal is to dramatically accelerate development while maintaining quality. You should know how to: Generate code efficiently using AI Review AI-generated code critically Detect bugs, security risks, and logic errors Validate accounting calculations and workflows Write automated tests Refactor and improve generated code Ensure production-quality standards We are not looking for someone who simply generates code with AI. We are looking for someone who knows how to manage, review, verify, and improve AI-generated code. Existing Work Provided We already have: HTML pages Dashboard designs UI components Existing code Business requirements Accounting process documentation You will build on top of existing work rather than starting from scratch. Team Support You will have direct access to our accounting team, who will provide business requirements, workflow guidance, and testing support. You should be comfortable translating accounting requirements into working software solutions.
