Senior Backend Developer (Node.js + AWS)

The app allows users to securely connect their Spotify account, manage consent preferences, and view their personal data in a mobile application. We're looking for an experienced backend engineer to design and build a secure, scalable API and cloud infrastructure. ## Tech Stack * Node.js (TypeScript preferred) * PostgreSQL * AWS * AWS Cognito * REST APIs * Spotify Web API (OAuth 2.0) ## Responsibilities * Design and build the backend architecture * Develop secure REST APIs for the mobile application * Implement Spotify OAuth integration, token management, and refresh flows * Build user authentication using AWS Cognito (passwordless SMS) * Design and maintain the PostgreSQL database * Implement encrypted storage for user tokens and sensitive data * Build consent management APIs and user preference management * Develop a configurable valuation engine based on business rules * Build lightweight admin APIs for: * User management * Consent management * Valuation rule configuration * Monitoring and support * Implement source waitlist tracking for future integrations * Deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS Sydney * Write clean, well-documented, production-ready code
