Senior WordPress Developer | Custom Manufacturing Portal | CAD/STL Integration

Overview We are a professional jewelry manufacturing company specializing in CAD design, resin printing, precious metal casting, finishing, polishing, stone setting, and mold making for jewelry businesses throughout the United States. Our website is already built on WordPress and includes a customer login system and a custom casting calculator. We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to expand our existing platform into a modern manufacturing portal. This is not a simple website redesign. We are building a customer workflow that allows jewelry professionals to upload production files, receive instant pricing estimates, submit manufacturing jobs, and track orders. This will begin as a Phase 1 project with the opportunity for a long-term working relationship. Current Website WordPress Existing customer login system Existing casting calculator Stripe integration B2B manufacturing website Phase 1 Goals File Upload System Develop a secure upload system allowing customers to upload: STL 3DM STEP OBJ PDF Images Large file uploads should be supported. Automatic Model Analysis After upload, the system should automatically: Read STL geometry Calculate model volume Detect model dimensions Calculate estimated casting weight based on selected metal density Display results to the customer Casting Calculator Integration Use the calculated weight to populate our existing casting calculator. The customer should then select: Metal Quantity Finish Rush Service The calculator should generate an estimated manufacturing price. Customer Portal Each customer should have access to a dashboard where they can: View submitted jobs View uploaded files View quote status View order history Track production status Admin Dashboard Administrators should be able to: Review uploaded files View calculated model information Modify pricing if necessary Approve quotes Update production status Communicate with customers 3D Model Viewer (Preferred) Bonus experience if you have implemented browser-based STL or 3D model viewers using technologies such as Three.js or similar.
