Interactive Digital Platform — UX, Data Visualisation, React/Next.js, CMS

Project Overview We are looking for an experienced digital product team or agency to help design and build an interactive digital reporting platform. The project involves transforming long-form PDF-style reports into high-impact digital reports that are easy to browse, present on screen, and manage through a CMS. The experience needs to combine editorial storytelling, interactive charts, maps, data tables, downloadable PDFs and reusable page templates. This is not a simple website build or PDF-to-web conversion. We need a team that can think through the user experience, content structure, data presentation and technical architecture. What We Need The digital reports need to support two key use cases: people presenting the report in stakeholder meetings, and people browsing or reading the report individually. The solution should be reusable, scalable and easy for the client team to update after launch. Required Skills We are looking for a team with strong experience in: - UX/UI design for complex content-heavy websites, - interactive digital reports, - data visualisation, - React / Next.js, - TypeScript, - CMS setup, - responsive development, accessibility, map-based interfaces, chart libraries, data handling from Excel/CSV/JSON, QA and documentation. Experience with education, research, policy, annual reports, dashboards or stakeholder-facing digital platforms would be highly valuable. Preferred Team Structure This project is likely better suited to a small agency or specialist product team rather than a single freelancer. Ideally, your team includes a UX/UI designer, front-end developer, CMS/backend developer, data visualisation specialist, QA tester and a delivery lead. Key Deliverables We expect support across UX, wireframes, high-fidelity design, reusable UI components, front-end development, CMS/content model setup, chart/map/table implementation, responsive and accessibility-aligned development, QA, documentation and handover. Technology We are currently considering a modern stack such as React / Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS or similar, supported by a CMS that allows non-technical users to manage report content, PDFs, charts and structured page content. We are open to recommendations if you can clearly explain the benefits, risks and long-term maintainability of your proposed approach. Timeline We are looking for a team that can start ASAP. There is a near-term requirement to produce presentation-ready outputs for priority reports, followed by broader build, refinement, QA and handover.
