Software Engineer (AI-Powered Travel Concierge Platform)

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and lead the development of a modern, intelligent web platform for our premium travel concierge service. You will build an exceptional user experience that combines beautiful design with powerful AI capabilities to deliver personalized travel planning, real-time recommendations, itinerary generation, and seamless booking assistance. This is a high-impact role where you’ll architect and implement the full web application from the ground up, integrating cutting-edge AI to make travel effortless and delightful for our users. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain a responsive, high-performance web application (frontend + backend) for the travel concierge platform. Integrate and optimize AI-powered features such as: Intelligent travel recommendation engines Conversational AI/chat interfaces for itinerary planning and customer support Natural language processing for understanding user preferences and requests Automated itinerary generation and optimization Build and integrate with third-party APIs (flights, hotels, activities, payments, calendars, etc.). Develop secure user authentication, booking flows, and personalized dashboards. Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and performs well under high traffic. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, AI specialists, and travel experts to deliver polished user experiences. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Monitor, debug, and continuously improve the platform based on user feedback and analytics. Requirements 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong focus on full-stack web development. Proficiency in modern web technologies: Frontend: React.js (or Next.js), TypeScript, Tailwind/CSS-in-JS. Backend: Node.js/Express, Python (Django or FastAPI), or similar. Experience integrating AI/ML services (OpenAI/GPT APIs, LangChain, vector databases, or similar). Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and authentication (JWT, OAuth). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, or GCP) and DevOps basics (Docker, CI/CD). Passion for creating intuitive, delightful user interfaces. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Nice-to-Haves Previous experience in the travel, hospitality, or consumer-facing SaaS industry. Knowledge of AI agent frameworks or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems. Experience with real-time features (WebSockets, server-sent events). Familiarity with mapping and geolocation services. Understanding of accessibility, performance optimization, and SEO.
