Custom FoodTech Platform & POS Sync / Fleet API Integration (Toast / Square / DoorDash)

We are looking for an established software engineering agency or a dedicated development squad with proven, deep domain expertise in FoodTech, kitchen logistics, and high-load ordering systems. We need to build and scale a custom food delivery and ordering platform to handle multi-restaurant inventory, kitchen display registers, and courier fleets seamlessly. Our product goals are clear, high-level business workflows are defined, and we have a realistic budget and timeline. We value architectural predictability, clean technical documentation, and structured project management. Key Project Scope & Engineering Tasks: - Multi-POS & Fleet API Connectivity: Integrating third-party restaurant POS systems (e.g., Toast API, Square, Olo) and external courier fleets (e.g., DoorDash Drive, Postmates API) with real-time menu availability and delivery rate sync. - Core Ordering Engine & KDS/POS Layer: Building a secure, high-load order dispatching engine and Kitchen Display System (KDS) layer handling business logic, automated courier assignment, payment routing, and inventory management. - Data Pipelines & Logging: Setting up automated data pipelines to route historical transaction logs onto a dedicated analytical server for business intelligence and fraud prevention. - Modern Web & Mobile Interface: Developing a fast, highly responsive web portal and mobile experience built on modern frameworks (React / Next.js / React Native / TypeScript). The project will start with a structured Sprint 0 dedicated to server infrastructure setup, POS API exploration, and final backlog validation before full-scale development begins. Deliverables • Sprint 0 Deliverables: Technical architecture blueprint, cloud environment setup, and validated product backlog. • API Integration Layer: Fully connected API integrations with target POS systems (Toast, Square, Olo) and courier dispatch endpoints (DoorDash Drive). • Core Ordering Engine: Production-ready checkout engine with real-time kitchen dispatching, live courier map tracking, and payment gateway integration. • Data Infrastructure: Configured ETL pipelines moving historical transaction records to a dedicated analytical server. • Frontend Web & Mobile Apps: Modern, fast user interface (React/Next.js/React Native) optimized for direct customer conversions. • 3rd-Party POS/Fleet Certification: Complete passage of external compliance testing to obtain production API keys.
