AI-Assisted React Native / Expo Developer for Voice-First Mobile App MVP

We’re building a minimalist voice-first mobile app for iOS and Android. The core experience is simple: Hold → Speak → Release → Received → Return to life We already have the product direction, visual references, and backend/AI architecture. We need a strong mobile developer to build the first working Expo app quickly and cleanly. Phase 1 Scope Build a React Native / Expo app with: * Beautiful minimalist home screen with one central glowing button * Press-and-hold voice recording * Release-to-send audio upload to backend API * “Received” confirmation screen * Basic Recent History screen * Simple Settings screen * Basic authentication * Push notification setup * Clean codebase that can grow into a production app * TestFlight-ready build if possible Preferred Build Approach We are open to using AI-assisted development tools to move faster, including: * Cursor * Claude Code * Replit Agent * Bolt * GitHub Copilot But the final product should be a real, maintainable Expo codebase, not a fragile no-code prototype.
