We are looking for a sharp, product-minded developer to build an MVP web application from an existing high-fidelity HTML prototype. Someone who can think, talk and advise on product vision AND execute on that vision using the latest AI native technology. This is not an agency brief and not a generic dev shop project. We are looking for an individual builder or very small technical partner who can move fast, think clearly, and build with taste. The product is a premium client-facing portal paired with a team-facing admin/CMS. It is content-rich, design-sensitive, and structured around private client data, documents, records, workflows, and a future AI retrieval layer. A working HTML prototype already exists and the MVP scope is defined. What we need now is someone who can turn that into a real product quickly and cleanly. ## What we are building A secure web application with: * a team-facing admin / CMS * client-facing private portals * structured records and document storage * service request workflow * hosted multi-client architecture * a clear path toward future AI-assisted retrieval and concierge features This is not a toy MVP. It needs to feel premium, fast, secure, and polished. ## What matters most We care about five things: **1. Speed** You can move quickly and get an MVP live in weeks, not months. **2. Product judgment** You can make smart technical tradeoffs, push back when needed, and improve weak ideas. **3. Frontend quality** You care about detail, spacing, typography, interaction design, responsiveness, and preserving an existing design language with high fidelity. **4. Security and architecture** You understand auth, permissions, private file access, secure hosting, and structured data design. **5. AI-native development** You are fluent using Claude Code or equivalent AI-assisted development workflows to move faster without sacrificing quality. ## Likely stack We are open to your recommendation, but this project likely fits something like: * Next.js / modern React framework * Supabase or similar backend * PostgreSQL * secure file storage * email / magic link auth * a retrieval-ready structured data layer for future AI features * clean deployment on Vercel or similar We are not religious about stack. We do care that it is: * fast to build * affordable to run * easy to maintain * secure * scalable beyond a single client instance ## You are probably a fit if * you are a strong full-stack developer with product instincts * you can build both admin tools and polished client-facing interfaces * you are proficient with Claude Code or similar AI-native workflows * you understand retrieval architecture or vector-backed systems well enough to design for future AI features, even if AI is not fully in scope for MVP * you have strong security instincts around private user data and document access * you can own architecture, implementation, and polish * you are comfortable building from an existing HTML prototype and preserving the design closely ## You are probably not a fit if * you are primarily an agency account team * you need a large team to ship an MVP * you are backend-only and weak on frontend polish * you are frontend-only and weak on architecture/security * you mostly build marketing sites rather than real applications * you use AI tools to generate code but do not know how to validate, structure, and maintain it ## Scope highlights The MVP includes: * admin dashboard / CMS * client portal rendering structured content from CMS * file and document handling * service request workflow with notifications * authentication * responsive UX * production deployment * clean handoff and documentation The future product includes an AI component, but the MVP should focus on the right data model, product structure, and retrieval-ready foundation. ## What we want from you Please respond with: 1. the stack you would use and why 2. how you would approach building this quickly without sacrificing quality 3. examples of similar applications or secure client portals you have built 4. your experience with: * Claude Code or equivalent * retrieval systems / vector-backed architecture * secure client portals, private dashboards, or document-rich applications 5. whether you prefer milestone-based pricing or hourly 6. what you think the biggest technical risks are in a project like this 7. what you would build first in week one ## Important We are looking for a technical partner, not just someone to take tickets. We want someone who can: * think * simplify * build * care about UX * care about security * move fast * and help shape a strong MVP from a very clear starting point If this goes well, there is room for more work beyond this project.
