We're looking for an experienced full-stack developer or team to build out a production worthy digital Marketplace. Our Marketplace revolves around the popular game from Valve, Counter-Strike 2. We have created a prototype of core features to base work off of. We are not looking for full Ai Code, as this is a Marketplace handling real transactions, Core-Backend features we do not want created through AI. Utilizing our proto-type which is a showcase of all core-features, we hope to be able to super-charge the developmental process. Some top-level features in our Marketplace are: - Public Trade board where users can create "posts" of items they have for items they want, including website credits. A User can then enter a negotiation, and counter offer, or accept their initial trade post. Once an offer is accepted on both sides by both parties, they are automatically guided through sending a trade requests and are tracked, and if they do not complete the trade they will be punished. - Users deposit real money for "credits" on the website that are 1:1 with USD $. - Marketplace where users can post for sale items that they have for only $. Similar to popular sites such as CSFloat and SkinPort. - 4 Step trade verification and tracking for both parties. Simple Browser extension will be needed. - "Stores" Which is a page where users can advertise their own "Store" of items. Some users have hundreds of items to sell and single "Posts" would not be efficient. This is also a public page for each user that they get to advertise any items they have for sale (see prototype). - When users purchase items with "Credits", there is an escrow hold until the trade is confirmed (after 8 days). After 8 days they can use the credits to purchase or withdraw (to bank account) - Automatic inventory syncing through steam API and item pricing. - Robust Moderation is a must. Ability to see every negotiation, chat logs, see every active trades, completed trades or marketplace transactions, status, fraud detection and prevention etc. No transaction can be lost - Lightweight database that will allow us to scale while minimizing costs. What must be built: Core Trading: - Steam OpenID auth for logging in - Live-Trading Peer-2-Peer trade listing feed (create post, bump post to top, post expires, soft-deleting posts & max posts) - Creating Negotiation with Live-Trades that have spam limits (opening negotiations with tons of people, max negotiations open at one time, etc.) Negotiation windows have a Chat box for users to talk, a trade window that shows trade Dialogue with items & item pricing, accept or close negotiation, etc. - Direct Private Trade requests between users directly (opens negotiation room) from users website profile. + Ability to block users - Unified trade delivery flow for Marketplace purchases & P2P Trades. - Double checking items exist in inventorys when buying marketplace listings before creating trade & taking credits. This should also happen for all trades sent through the website, and automatically delete any Live-Trade offers or Marketplace listings for items detected to not be in the users inventory. Users: - Each user has a publicly viewable user profile - Each user has a Reputation Level (number) that correlates to a level. (Ex: 600 Reputation= Level 6) This is publicly for every user -Completed Trade Gives +Rep, Canceled before any items sent gives - Rep, Trade Reversal sets user at negative 1000 in red and also PERMENANT BAN. - Reputation Levels that change color and can give badges for earning. If rep gets too low will restrict users and potentially ban them. - Each user gets a "Store" Page automatically. This is where users can feature items they are selling, change their store's advertising title, view their active trades theyve posted in the Live-Trade requests, and view their public marketplace listings. -There is also a Main Store page where all users stores are listed in simple rows. When a new user creates a profile, their store should be at the top, and as more people join & also "Bump" (to move their listing to the top, will be pushed down and need to bump regularly). This feature is built out in our proto-type. - User specific pages such as Active Negotiations, Profile, Inventory, Market History, My Store, Trades (Show active accepted trades and their step/status), and ability to create admin tickets. - Display on each public profile Avergae time to accept trade, Average time to send items, Trade Completion %, Total number of Completed Trade) - Profile cosmetics such as Shiny / animated Username text, Profile styles, Badges, Achievements & Basic account levels (completed trades give + exp) Marketplace (Credits) - Browse, List, filter/sort items by stats (wear, float, price, StatTrak, Special, Gem items, ETC.) - Advanced Item Tagging (Doppler, Gems, Fades, Etc.) - Buy-Now or counter offer (if enabled by seller) for items, - Cart System & Checkout - Ability to list items as "private seller" - Credit system that can be used in Marketplace and Trade Negotiations. - Utilizing Stripe Connect for Marketplace - Purchase & Sale History - Watch list for items, - Pop-Up Window for every item that shows seller information, other items being sold, graph with sales, etc. Like website CSFloat - Seller must always accept trade - Tracking every CS2 item and having metrics for every item sold on store - Displaying on each listing if the price is above or below market using pricing API. UI: - Unified Trading and Web UI & Style - Displaying each item icon with name neatly. - Advanced filtering options to search for items in marketplace & filter Live-Trades to ones that include specific items. - Notifications & Alerts from all actions aswell as ability for admins to send specific or site-wide Alert. - Displaying Item Pricing fetched from API & Caching. - ASync updates & Performance Orientated. Credits & money integrity - Ability to track all transactions & Status of all credits - Escrow credit holds for 8 days to confirm trade - Daily checks to make sure users balances arnt exploited or manipulated. - Inventory Asset locking (prevent double-sale of items or prevent exploit/fraud) - Automatic balance settlement between users from trade negotiations or marketplace sales. (Ability to add Credits as an "Add-On' Item in a trade.) - Full Admin audit ledger Trade fulfillment: - 4 Step Lifecycle for trades for all trades or marketplace sales for items: 1) Seller Accepts Sale 2) Seller Sends agreed items/trade offer 3) Buyer accepts trade 4) Trade verified (8 days to verify trade is successful) - Trade offers must make sure to include the EXACT item, not just the same item same wear, but the exact items that are traded. - Ability to cancel trade before any items are sent, Dispute trades, and automatic reversal/trade status detection using simple browser plugin (Like CSFloat). Admin & moderation - Secure admin panel with admin groups with permissions (Moderators, Admins, Helpers, etc.) User staff nametags - Full User management (ban, restrict, change reputation etc.) - View Marketplace and trading Metrics - View moderation Cases (trade disputes, reversales, appeals, admin review etc.) - Live Trade inspector for all active trades to view step and status - Credit Metric viewing & Profit & Cost - Users who are banned permanently due to trade reversal or fraud should have all credits or balance in their account seized and any active withdraws haulted. Monetization: - Taking a % fee of every credit marketplace transaction (seller pays fee) - If credits are used as an addon for a trade, we require a % fee of that aswell (party who credits are used from should pay fee) - Monthly Premium accounts with automatic billing, to get more Live-Trade listings, Allow for more Store & Live-Trade listing Bumps, have a stylized username, profile badge, etc. Essentially we are aiming to build a trading ecosystem. This ecosystem allows users to post items they have for sale in many ways, and have users able to accept or counter offer. Users then benefit from having a moderated and governed trading to ensure every party is traded fairly and trades go through aswell as escrow-ed credits are held and released automatically. With Gamified features such as reputation and badges and other features to encourage users to trade. Also a Marketplace which users can exchange Credits 1:1 with USD $ to purchase and sell items and allowing global withdraws through Stripe Connect. Using Credits users can also add them with items in trade negotiations (example: Items + $100 Credits). There is also a Community Store Advertising page where users can "Bump" their community store (a personalized page for each user of showcased items & their active trades and listings). This marketplace must be robust in transactions, monitoring and fraud prevention, aswell as tracking trades.
