Full-Time Delivery Lead / PM for Dev Team (React, Node, AWS, AI)

We're an IT services firm delivering a web app for a retail client, and we're hiring a full-time delivery lead to own our development team. You'll keep a small team of 2-3 developers productive, unblocked, and on track - and report progress to me. This is a hands-on leadership role. Most of your time goes to planning, coordinating, and clearing blockers, with some light technical work: small changes in our React (Vite) frontend or Node/Express backend, plus using AI tools like Claude to move faster. Our stack: React (Vite) frontend, Node/Express backend, hosted on AWS, AI assist with Claude. What you'll do: - Own the day-to-day for 2-3 developers - set priorities, assign work, and keep everyone unblocked - Turn goals into a clear, sequenced backlog with acceptance criteria ("what done looks like") - Run a light daily/weekly rhythm (standups, check-ins) and send me a short status update - Review the team's work and test features before they ship - Make small code changes yourself (React or Node/Express) and lean on AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to move faster - Spot risks early and keep delivery on schedule What you bring: - Experience leading or coordinating a software/web development team - Working knowledge of React (Vite) and Node/Express on AWS - enough to follow the work, review it, and make small changes - Confidence using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT in your daily workflow - Strong written English and clear, organized communication - Solid daily overlap with US Eastern time Bonus (not required): - Agency / IT-services / client-delivery experience - Stronger React or Node/Express development background - Retail or store-operations projects Details: - Full-time, long-term - around 40 hours/week - Hourly, remote, reports directly to me To apply: In a few sentences, tell me about a dev team or project you led, your hands-on experience with React and/or Node, and how you've used AI tools.
