Junior AI / Python Engineer (Long-Term Collaboration)

Hey there! I'm looking for a junior engineer interested in building a long-term working relationship. This is not a full-time position. Initially, work will be occasional and project-based, with the potential to grow over time as new opportunities arise. I need someone who can bring a keen eye for detail, a professional approach, and a highly responsive and adaptable mindset to the table. While technical skills matter, I'm placing significantly more weight on communication, reliability, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly. Initially, we'll have a fair bit of interaction (think Zoom calls) so I can provide feedback and clarify client expectations. Initially, we'll work closely together. Over time, I'd like you to become increasingly autonomous and comfortable taking ownership of projects. ## What matters most I'm looking for someone who demonstrates: - Strong communication - Reliability - Ownership - Ability to work independently - Curiosity and willingness to learn Technical skills can be taught. Character and work ethic are much harder to teach. ## Technical Background You don't need to be an expert, but some experience with the following is helpful: - Python - APIs - Linux (Ubuntu) - AI/LLM integrations - Git - Basic cloud concepts (AWS is a plus) If you're missing some of these but are a fast learner, I'd still encourage you to apply. ## What you'll work on Projects may include: - AI-powered applications - API integrations - Automation workflows - Backend development - Internal tools - AI agents and LLM-based systems Each project is different, so adaptability is important. ## What I'm looking for long term My goal is to gradually build a trusted network of people I enjoy working with.
