Part-Time Senior Full-Stack Developer (Laravel + Next.js) — Long-Term, Fast-Moving SaaS

Budget: $10.0 - $35.0 HOURLY / PART_TIME ⭐ 5.00 (1) USA

javascript, html5, next.js, postgresql, laravel-framework, api-integration

I run a growing business-directory SaaS platform (think "Yelp for a niche community") plus a few smaller projects, and I'm looking for a sharp, fast, senior full-stack developer to work with me part-time (10–20 hrs/week to start, long-term for the right person). The stack you'll live in: Backend: Laravel 13, PostgreSQL, Redis, Meilisearch, REST APIs Frontend: Next.js (App Router + Pages Router), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS Infra: Linux VPS, Caddy, GitHub CI, Cloudflare/R2 Payments: card-on-file subscription billing (experience with any processor is fine) What you'll do: Build features end-to-end (backend API → portal UI → tests) Review and harden code (some of our code is AI-assisted — you'll be the human judgment on top) Test releases like a real user (desktop + mobile), catch what automation misses Occasional design/UX improvements with Tailwind You are: Senior: you've shipped production Laravel AND React/Next.js, and you write tests without being asked Fast and self-directed: you turn a clear brief into a working, verified feature without hand-holding Business-minded: you ask why a feature exists and think about the user and the revenue, not just the ticket Comfortable working with AI coding tools (we use them heavily — you should amplify them, not compete with them) Strong written English; overlap of at least 2–3 hours with US Eastern mornings How I hire: short screening questions → a small paid test task (2–3 hours, real code from the actual project) → video call → trial month. To apply, start your proposal with the word "SIXPACK" (so I know you read this), and answer: (1) a Laravel + Next.js project you built — what did it do and what was YOUR part? (2) How do you verify your work before calling it done? (3) Your hourly rate and weekly availability.
