Senior Claude Code Engineer Needed to Build AI Agents for Our SaaS Platform

We're building an AI first SaaS platform that helps operations teams automate repetitive work using intelligent agents. Over the past year, we've developed the foundation of our product, and we're now looking for an experienced Claude Code engineer who can help us accelerate development and improve how our engineering team delivers new features. Our developers already use Claude Code every day, but we've reached the point where we need someone who knows how to maximize its capabilities on large, production grade applications. We're not simply looking for someone who can generate code. We need an engineer who can use Claude Code as a true development partner to design scalable systems, refactor complex applications, troubleshoot difficult issues, and improve engineering efficiency across the organization. You'll work closely with our CTO and senior engineering team to build new product features while helping establish AI first development practices throughout the company. About the Product Our platform enables businesses to create AI powered workflows that integrate with CRMs, internal databases, communication platforms, and third party APIs. Customers rely on our platform to automate customer support, lead qualification, internal documentation, reporting, and operational processes. We're preparing for a major product release later this year and need an engineer who can move quickly while maintaining excellent code quality and engineering standards. Responsibilities • Build new product features using Claude Code. • Design scalable backend services. • Develop AI agent workflows. • Refactor and improve existing application architecture. • Improve code quality and long term maintainability. • Write clean, well documented production code. • Build reusable internal development tools. • Review pull requests and provide technical feedback. • Improve automated testing coverage. • Create technical documentation. • Optimize API integrations and application performance. • Work with the product team to estimate and scope new features. • Identify opportunities where Claude Code can automate engineering tasks. Communication Our engineering team works asynchronously for most of the day. We communicate primarily through Slack and Linear, with one engineering stand up each week and planning meetings every other Friday. We're looking for someone who communicates clearly, asks thoughtful questions, and proactively shares progress throughout the project.
