Healthcare Integration Specialist — EHR (Contract) ABOUT NRG CLINIC NRG Clinic is an online telehealth company with a direct-to-consumer, e-commerce-first model: patients buy products and visits online, and our clinical team handles compliance and fulfillment. We are migrating our EHR from Charm Health to Healthie and building the automation layer that connects checkout, onboarding, clinical charting, labs, e-prescribing, and patient communication. THE ENGAGEMENT We're hiring an experienced healthcare-technology contractor to lead and build the technical side of this migration. You'll own the architecture and the higher-risk integration and compliance work, and direct a junior intern who handles high-volume configuration. This is a hands-on build engagement across a phased, multi-month project — not advisory-only. Important framing: we are hiring for healthcare-systems integration skill, not for one specific product. Direct Healthie experience is a strong plus, but deep experience integrating any EHR/EMR or telehealth platform — plus HIPAA fluency — is what matters most. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Architect and build the external checkout layer (state-based eligibility gating, multi-state formulary logic, BNPL) that records transactions back into Healthie via API Build purchase-triggered onboarding and the clinical "journey engine" (refill, lab follow-up, follow-up-consult automations) using Healthie webhooks + Keragon / n8n Stand up HIPAA-compliant, multi-step patient communication sequences with conditional and stop-on-action logic Implement integrations across Healthie's GraphQL API: client creation, form assignment, program enrollment, billing items, lab orders, webhook handling Build the one-way data bridge from Healthie to the CRM (Zoho) for conversion and churn signals Coordinate platform setup with Healthie and vendors (DoseSpot e-prescribing/EPCS, LabCorp E-Labs Direct) and make the compliance-sensitive technical calls Direct and review a junior implementation intern; document architecture and runbooks REQUIRED 3+ years building software/system integrations, ideally in healthcare or another regulated domain Hands-on experience integrating or implementing an EHR/EMR or telehealth platform (Healthie, DrChrono, Elation, Canvas, Athena, Cerner, Epic, or similar) Strong REST/GraphQL API, webhook, and JSON integration skills Working knowledge of HIPAA / handling PHI; willing to sign and work under a BAA Experience with a low-code automation platform (Keragon, n8n, Make, Zapier) and with Stripe or similar payments integration US-based (required for production/PHI access) STRONGLY PREFERRED Direct Healthie experience (Client Packages, programs, charting, webhooks, GraphQL API) Direct Keragon experience for HIPAA-compliant automation Prior direct-to-consumer (DTC) telehealth or e-commerce-driven care build Familiarity with e-prescribing (DoseSpot/Surescripts, EPCS) and lab integrations (LabCorp/Quest)
