Job Title: AI Engineer / Backend Developer Needed — AI, APIs, AWS, Backend Systems

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / Backend Developer to help build, improve, and maintain AI-powered features, backend systems, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure. This role is not only for AI automation or agent development. We need someone who is strong in backend engineering as well, with hands-on experience building reliable server-side systems, integrating third-party APIs, working with databases, and deploying/managing applications on AWS. The ideal candidate should be able to take business requirements, understand the technical flow, and turn them into clean, scalable, production-ready solutions. Responsibilities: Build and improve AI-powered features using OpenAI, Claude, or similar LLM APIs Develop backend APIs, services, and integrations Work with databases, webhooks, authentication, queues, and background jobs Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, SaaS platforms, and internal tools Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on AWS Set up or maintain AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, ECS, or similar Build AI workflows, RAG systems, chatbots, agents, or internal automation tools when needed Debug issues, improve performance, and ensure reliability Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code Communicate progress clearly and work independently Required skills: Strong experience with Python and/or Node.js Experience building backend APIs and production-grade server-side applications Experience with AWS deployment and infrastructure Experience with OpenAI API, Claude API, or other LLM tools Good understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, databases, and backend architecture Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Supabase, or similar databases Ability to debug, test, and maintain existing codebases Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication Nice to have: Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or other AI frameworks Experience with RAG systems and vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, or Supabase Vector Experience with Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or serverless architecture Experience with SaaS platforms, dashboards, admin panels, or internal business tools Experience with authentication, payments, Stripe, Twilio, or email/SMS integrations To apply, please include: Examples of backend or AI projects you have built Your experience with AWS Your experience with OpenAI, Claude, or AI-based systems Your preferred tech stack Your availability this week Please start your proposal with the word “BACKEND AI” so I know you read the full post.
