Next.js Developer (TypeScript/AI Integration) - Small Web App

We're looking for a Next.js developer to help build a small web application with an AI-powered feature. The app takes user input, sends it to an LLM, and returns structured results that users can review, edit, and export. It's a contained project with a clear scope. we're looking for someone who can work efficiently and independently. Tech stack: Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, OpenAI API (GPT-4o) integration, Supabase for auth and storage. What you'd be working on: Building a clean, responsive UI for the input and results view API routes handling prompt construction and LLM response streaming Basic Supabase setup for user auth and saving results Simple export functionality (copy / download as markdown) Small feature tweaks and bug fixes as we iterate Requirements: Solid TypeScript/Next.js experience, production apps preferred Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into real workflows Comfortable with Tailwind and building clean, functional UIs Familiarity with Supabase or similar (Postgres/BaaS) a plus Clear communicator, able to work async and independently How We Work & Collaboration We typically start with a small initial collaboration phase on an hourly basis. This lets both sides evaluate fit, communication, and working style in a practical setting. From there, we define clearly scoped pieces of work and move through them step by step. Over time, depending on how the collaboration develops, the setup can evolve with a balance between clearly scoped work and flexibility where it makes sense. The intention is to build a reliable, pragmatic working relationship rather than a one-off transaction.
