Python Software Development Project| FastAPI, TypeScript

I need an experienced developer to step into an ongoing technical project and take full ownership of the Python codebase. The core of the work will be writing clean, efficient, well-documented Python modules that integrate with our existing services, add new features, and resolve a few long-standing bugs. You will work directly from our private Git repo, create feature branches, and open pull requests for review. Every new function should be covered by unit tests, and any refactor must leave the test suite green. Continuous Integration is already in place, so I will judge success by a passing pipeline and code that follows PEP-8 standards. Most tasks are back-end focused (API endpoints, data processing scripts, and automation utilities), but if you happen to know JavaScript or Java as well, that could come in handy later; for now, solid Python expertise is the must-have.
