AI Integration Developer (Softr + Airtable + Automation + AI Workflows) We are building GuestShield, a SaaS platform that supports holiday‑let and short‑stay property owners by automating issue reporting, trade sourcing, certificate handling, reminders, and owner approvals. Our platform is already built on Softr + Airtable, and we are now expanding it with AI‑powered workflows, intelligent suggestions, and advanced automation. We are looking for an AI Integration Developer who specialises in Softr, Airtable, API integrations, and automation tools (Make.com, Zapier, n8n, or custom serverless functions). You will enhance our existing system rather than rebuild it. What You’ll Build (Phase 1 – Enhancing the Existing Platform) AI + Workflow Automation Integrate AI models (OpenAI, Azure, or similar) into Softr + Airtable workflows Build automated decision flows for issue handling and trade sourcing Design structured prompts and context‑aware AI outputs Create intelligent routing for jobs, reminders, and notifications Build custom API endpoints or serverless functions where needed AI‑Generated Suggested Responses You will build AI features that automatically generate: Suggested replies to owners Suggested replies to tradespeople Suggested updates for job progress Suggested explanations for delays, approvals, or next steps These suggestions will appear inside Softr dashboards and can be edited or approved by admins. Scheduled Responses & Automated Messaging You will create a system that can: Schedule AI‑generated responses Send timed follow‑ups Trigger reminders based on job status Notify owners when action is required Notify trades when a job is assigned or updated This will reduce manual communication and keep all parties aligned. Best‑Suited Trade Recommendations You will build logic that automatically recommends the best trade for each job based on: Skill Reliability Past performance Availability Cost Location Response speed Previous job outcomes AI will analyse the data and suggest the top trade(s) for each issue. Issue Reporting & Job Creation Improve the issue reporting flow (photos, urgency, notes) Automate job creation inside Airtable Build logic to match issues with the best tradespeople Connect Softr → AI → Airtable → Softr in a seamless loop Airtable Architecture & Automations Optimise Airtable base structure Build automations for job updates, notifications, and approvals Create webhook‑based triggers for AI workflows Ensure data is handled securely and efficiently Softr Enhancements Improve user dashboards Build dynamic views for owners, admins, and engineers Integrate AI‑powered features into the existing UI Ensure smooth user flows for reporting issues and approving jobs Future Phase: Compliance Module + Automations & Reminders You will also help build our next major feature: a full compliance automation system integrated into Softr + Airtable. Certificate Handling Owners will upload: Gas Safety EICR Fire Risk PAT Legionella Emergency Lighting certificates Compliance Automations The system will automatically: Track expiry dates Send reminders before expiry Prompt owners to approve servicing Auto‑generate engineer jobs Notify admins when certificates are missing or overdue Maintain a full audit trail AI‑Powered Compliance Features AI will: Read and extract data from certificates Validate certificate authenticity Flag missing or incorrect information Suggest next steps (e.g., “Book engineer”, “Upload updated certificate”) Generate compliance summaries for owners This module will become one of GuestShield’s strongest selling points. What Success Looks Like A smooth, reliable Softr + Airtable system AI‑powered workflows that reduce manual work Automated reminders, job creation, and trade matching Clean, maintainable automations Fast, intuitive user experience Secure handling of sensitive documents Who We’re Looking For Strong experience with Softr Strong experience with Airtable (bases, automations, scripts) Experience with Make.com, Zapier, or n8n Proven experience integrating AI APIs Ability to build custom API endpoints or serverless functions Strong understanding of workflow automation Good communication and ability to propose solutions Bonus Skills (Not required but highly valuable) Prompt engineering Experience with property‑tech or workflow automation Experience with secure file handling Experience with role‑based access systems Experience with AI‑powered document extraction About the Project GuestShield is already live on Softr + Airtable and will scale quickly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building intelligent automations, connecting systems, and enhancing no‑code platforms with AI. This is a long‑term project with ongoing development as we expand features, automation, and AI capabilities.
