I am looking for an experienced algorithmic trading developer to build a fully automated AI-powered equity trading bot that connects to my Interactive Brokers (IBKR) account.
The bot should be powered by Claude Fable 5 (Anthropic) for intelligent strategy generation, decision-making, and adaptability. It must support pre-market, regular market hours, and post-market trading on US equities.
Core Trading Logic Requirement:
The bot must scan the market every 1–5 minutes, analyze volume and percentage changes, read candlestick patterns, and execute entries with appropriate stop losses and approximate position sizing based on risk rules.
Project Goals:
Build a reliable, production-ready automated trading bot
Integrate Claude Fable 5 for strategy intelligence and decision making
Connect directly to Interactive Brokers via official API
Include robust risk management, position sizing, and safety controls
Thoroughly test on IBKR paper trading account before any live use
Provide complete documentation and a video walkthrough
Key Requirements & Features:
Full connection and order execution via Interactive Brokers TWS / Client Portal API (Python preferred)
Integration with Claude Fable 5 API for real-time analysis and trade decisions
Market scanning every 1–5 minutes for volume spikes, percentage changes, and candlestick patterns
Automated entries with dynamic stop losses and position sizing based on account risk
Support for pre-market, regular hours, and after-hours trading
Customizable strategy parameters so I can test and modify different approaches
Robust risk management (stop loss, take profit, max daily loss, position sizing, etc.)
Logging, trade reporting, performance tracking, and error handling with safe fail-safes
Deliverables:
Fully working bot connected to my IBKR paper trading account
Clean, well-documented Python code
Complete setup and configuration instructions
Video tutorial (screen recording) showing how to run, monitor, modify strategies, and review performance
Testing of multiple strategies on paper trading with detailed performance reports
Ongoing support for at least 30 days after delivery (bug fixes + minor adjustments)
Project Phases (Milestones):
Discovery & Planning – Review requirements and design architecture
Core Bot Development – Build structure, IBKR connection, and Claude integration
Strategy Implementation – Add 1–5 minute scanning, candlestick/volume analysis, entries, stops, and position sizing
Paper Trading Testing – Deploy on IBKR paper account, test strategies, and provide reports

Ideal Candidate:
Strong experience building automated trading bots with Interactive Brokers API
Experience integrating AI models (especially Claude / Anthropic API)
Proficient in Python
Previous algorithmic/quant trading projects (please share portfolio/examples)
Solid understanding of risk management and safe bot architecture
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Available for milestone-based work with regular updates
