Hi! I'm looking for a full-stack developer to build a personal finance web app from scratch. It's called Flux, and the idea is a "digital financial wallet" where users can record, manage, and review their income and expenses so they get a clearer picture of their money. I have a pretty clear vision of what I want,. Please read through the feature list below before applying so we're on the same page. Tech Stack I'd like to stick with this stack, so please don't pitch me on alternatives: Backend: Laravel (PHP 8.1 or newer) Frontend: Blade templates, Bootstrap, plain CSS and JavaScript (no React or Vue) Database: MySQL Auth: Laravel's built-in authentication for register, login, and logout What the app needs to do: 1. User accounts and auth Secure sign up, login, and logout Every user only sees their own data 2. Dashboard and analytics A real-time overview of total balance, income, and expenses Interactive charts for monthly income vs. expenses and a breakdown by category Month-over-month spending trends The ability to export data to CSV 3. Transaction management Add, edit, and delete income and expense records, each with a category and type Upload receipt images and attach them to a transaction Search and filter transactions by date, description, or type A live currency toggle between USD and IDR 4. Budgeting and automation Recurring monthly bills like electricity or insurance that the app tracks automatically each month Category spending limits with a simple "on track" or "overspending" indicator Projections for estimated monthly fixed costs and a yearly estimate based on the recurring bills 5. Smart recommendations Simple rule-based tips, for example suggesting the user diversify their income or cut down on high fixed costs 6. User experience Light and dark mode Support for switching languages using Laravel's language files A responsive layout that works on mobile What I expect delivered The full Laravel source code in a Git repo MySQL migrations and seeders An .env.example and a README with clear setup steps (composer install, key generate, migrate, serve)
