Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

We're hiring a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our team at SimpleBG, where we build custom software for the enterprise and government sectors. We're looking for someone with real experience in TypeScript and React to help build our AI platforms and government solutions. In this role you'll: Build and maintain full stack web applications with TypeScript, React, and Astro. Develop APIs, server-side logic, and authentication/authorization systems. Work with PostgreSQL: relational modeling, queries, Row Level Security. Create clean, responsive interfaces with HTML, CSS, and Tailwind. Integrate AI services (LLM APIs, automations, data pipelines). Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality. Collaborate directly with our Lead Developer and CTO on architecture decisions. Write clear documentation and keep code clean and readable. We're looking for someone who is: Technically solid with their own criteria for solving problems. Proactive, curious, and quick to pick up new technologies. A clear communicator who works well in a team. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in code reviews. Product-minded — understands that code serves a real user. Technical requirements (non-negotiable): TypeScript React HTML + CSS SQL (PostgreSQL) Git Solid mental model of HTTP, async, SSR, client-server Claude Code (or equivalent AI coding agent — real usage, not just autocomplete) Project stack (learnable if the above is solid): Astro (SSR, Astro Actions) Tailwind CSS Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Storage, RLS) Bun (runtime + package manager) Node.js (server SSR) Zod (validation) Nice to have: Docker, Redis, AWS (S3, presigned URLs) CI/CD (GitHub Actions) Testing: Vitest, Playwright, Testing Library Security: E2E encryption, JWT, Web Crypto Dataviz (Recharts), PDF generation Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
