We are Next Level Sports Nutrition, an independent supplement retail chain with multiple locations across Kentucky and Indiana. We've built a loyal customer base over the years and are now ready to take the next step — a branded mobile app that gives our customers a personalized, data-driven experience they can't get from a big-box retailer.
We are looking for an experienced mobile app developer (or development team) to build our customer-facing iOS and Android app from the ground up.
🎯 What we're building
This is a customer-facing app designed to keep our shoppers engaged, informed, and connected to their health data. Phase 1 features include:
• Macro Calculator — a branded, easy-to-use tool for tracking daily nutritional targets
• InBody Scan Viewer — customers can log in and view their InBody 270 body composition scan history and results directly in the app
• Purchase History — integrated with our Lightspeed POS system so customers can view their order history
• Customer Login / Profile — secure account creation and management
🔧 Technical considerations
• Cross-platform preferred (React Native or Flutter) — one codebase for iOS and Android
• InBody 270 integration — experience with or willingness to research the InBody developer API is important; this is a key differentiator for the app
• Lightspeed POS integration — purchase history pull via Lightspeed API
• Secure user authentication and data handling — body composition data is sensitive and must be treated accordingly
• Scalable architecture to support AI/recommendation features in future phases
Phase 2 (future development) will expand into:
• Personalized workout plans
• Nutrition and eating recommendations
• AI-driven supplement suggestions based on individual goals, scan data, and purchase history
We want a developer who can build Phase 1 cleanly and with Phase 2 in mind — the architecture needs to support where we're going, not just where we're starting.
