AI Automation Engineer | n8n + Claude AI + GoHighLevel End-to-End Workflow & API Integration

We're a growing service-based business looking for an experienced AI Automation Engineer to design and build end-to-end workflows that connect our CRM, communication tools, and AI systems. Manual processes are slowing our team down — lead intake, follow-up, and reporting are all handled by hand right now, and we need someone who can architect a system that runs on its own. What You'll Own Workflow Architecture — Design and build multi-step automations in n8n connecting our CRM, email, SMS, and calendar tools. AI Integration — Implement Claude API for lead qualification, auto-responses, and internal document summarization. CRM Automation — Build and optimize GoHighLevel workflows: pipeline triggers, follow-up sequences, tagging, and smart lists. API & Webhook Integration — Connect third-party tools via REST APIs and webhooks, ensuring reliable data flow with proper error handling. Testing & Documentation — Thoroughly test each automation before handoff and provide clear documentation for future maintenance. Ongoing Optimization — Monitor performance and refine workflows as business needs evolve. Requirements Proven hands-on experience with n8n (self-hosted or cloud) Experience integrating Claude API or OpenAI API into production workflows Strong working knowledge of GoHighLevel automations and pipelines Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON Prior experience with Make.com or Zapier is a plus Strong written English and clear, proactive communication Test Project Before the full engagement, all applicants will complete a small paid test project ($10 fixed price) so we can evaluate real working style and technical fit. This is not a trial period without pay — it's a scoped, compensated task. Strong performance on the test project leads directly to the full role.
