AI Engineer Needed for MCP Gateway and Workflow Automation Platform

Title: Senior TypeScript Engineer for MCP Gateway and Workflow Automation Platform We are looking for a highly skilled TypeScript engineer to work on an existing MCP Gateway and workflow automation platform. The developer should be highly experienced with modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or similar platforms, and should be capable of using them effectively to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and codebase analysis. Scope of Work * Review and understand the existing TypeScript and Node.js codebase * Thoroughly test the MCP Gateway across functional, integration, performance, and failure scenarios * Identify bugs, edge cases, architectural gaps, and security risks * Fix existing issues and improve application reliability * Develop new MCP Gateway features and enhancements * Improve error handling, logging, observability, and automated test coverage * Modify and improve existing workflow automation connectors * Build new connectors and third-party integrations when required * Work with APIs, OAuth, webhooks, authentication systems, and MCP servers * Review the current platform and proactively recommend technical improvements * Maintain clear technical documentation and milestone-level deliverables Required Experience * Strong professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js * Experience building production-grade backend applications and APIs * Experience with MCP servers, MCP gateways, or agent-based infrastructure * Experience building workflow automation platforms, connectors, or integration frameworks * Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, API keys, and token management * Experience with automated testing, integration testing, and debugging * Strong understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous workflows * Experience using Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools * Strong Git, code review, and software engineering practices Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who can independently explore an unfamiliar codebase, identify problems, recommend improvements, and take ownership of implementation.
