Software Development Intern – Agentic Platforms (Full-Time Paid)

Role Mission As a Software Development Intern for the Agentic Platforms Team, you will work directly with MetaBull’s Lead of Platform Engineering to design, build, and iterate on AI-native systems that power real production workflows. This role is not a traditional internship—you will operate as a contributing engineer inside an active production platform, learning how AI agents, workflows, and infrastructure come together to solve real-world problems in animation and content creation. Your mission is to help expand MetaBull’s agentic architecture—building, testing, and refining intelligent workflows that automate complex creative and technical tasks. Additionally, you will work with an agentic development platform – MetaBull OS – designed to leverage AI tools and integrations specifically for code development and development. Core Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with the Lead of Platform Engineering on core system development and experimentation • Work with the broader Engineering Group on cross platform development, testing, and deployment. • Build and iterate on agentic workflows (multi-step AI processes, tool chains, and automation pipelines) • Develop and integrate backend services, APIs, and internal tools within MetaBull’s platform • Work with internal systems that manage: o Context and production data o AI execution pipelines o Workflow orchestration and agent coordination • Assist in designing modular, extensible systems that scale across production use cases • Participate in debugging, performance optimization, and system testing • Contribute to documentation and internal tooling to improve developer experience • Rapidly prototype and validate new ideas in AI-native product development Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree (or recent graduate) in: o Computer Science o Engineering (any relevant specialization) o Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning • Strong fundamentals in: o Data structures and algorithms o Software engineering principles o Backend development • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) • Understanding of APIs, services, and system design basics • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and build independently Preferred Skills • Experience with: o Python-based development environments o AI/ML workflows, LLMs, or automation tools o Workflow orchestration (pipelines, task graphs, event-driven systems) • Familiarity with: o REST APIs, microservices, or distributed systems o Developer tools, scripting, or internal platforms • Exposure to: o Generative AI, agents, or prompt systems o Creative tools (Blender, Unity, Unreal) or media pipelines • Strong problem-solving mindset with an interest in systems thinking Work Environment • Onsite, full-time role at a WeWork office in Bangalore • High-ownership, fast-paced startup environment • Direct access to senior technical leadership and product decision-making • Collaborative, cross-functional team working across engineering, product, and creative pipelines • Hands-on exposure to real production deployments and studio workflows Growth & Conversion Opportunity This internship is designed as a pathway to a full-time engineering role at MetaBull.
