WordPress / Divi Site Polish, Brand Alignment, Visual QA & Ongoing Website Support

We launched an updated company website in late 2025 built on WordPress with Divi, and we’re looking for a highly detail-oriented freelancer to help with ongoing visual polish, brand alignment, content cleanup, technical QA, and website support. This is not a full redesign project. We are not looking to completely reinvent the site, restructure everything, or introduce a new creative direction. The site architecture and overall design direction are already in place. That said, there will be ongoing work to bring the site more in line with updated brand standards. This may include adjustments to Divi global settings, sitewide CSS, typography, spacing, colors, page styling, post styling, templates, and other areas where the current site needs refinement. We need someone who can methodically work through a punch list of tasks and execute clean, precise adjustments based on clear instructions, while also having enough technical judgment to recognize obvious inconsistencies or issues. Most of the work will be on our main company website, but there may also be occasional updates needed on related WordPress/Divi websites and landing pages. One of the other sites is very small and also built with Divi. Examples of the type of work involved: - Tweaking font sizes, weights, line heights, and spacing - Adjusting Divi global settings and site CSS to better match updated brand standards - Implementing margin and padding changes precisely as recommended - Adjusting color usage and combinations to match provided guidance - Updating the look and feel of existing pages, posts, and site sections without reinventing the layout - Cleaning up visual inconsistencies across pages - Minor text edits and formatting fixes - Ensuring consistency across desktop, tablet, and mobile views - Helping with ongoing WordPress/Divi updates and page maintenance - Reviewing pages for obvious layout, spacing, mobile, or technical issues - Safely assisting with plugin updates, troubleshooting, and general site health when needed - Helping confirm forms, links, buttons, and tracking-related items are working as expected - Occasionally supporting related WordPress/Divi websites or landing pages Think of this role primarily as WordPress/Divi site support from a visual, brand, content, and technical QA perspective, not a full creative redesign role. What we’re looking for: - Strong hands-on experience with WordPress + Divi - Excellent attention to detail. You notice when something is visually inconsistent or technically off - Comfortable working with Divi global settings and custom CSS - Able to execute changes based on provided brand/design direction rather than re-interpreting everything creatively - Organized and methodical. Able to check tasks off a list cleanly - Able to work collaboratively with feedback from marketing and/or a graphic designer - Comfortable working in a staging environment before changes go live - Strong enough technically to troubleshoot common WordPress, Divi, plugin, CSS, layout, and responsive issues - Able to notice when something is outdated, broken, inconsistent, or not technically up to standard - Willing to make smart recommendations without constantly creating unnecessary work - Comfortable using AI tools, when appropriate, to speed up troubleshooting, development, QA, or documentation, while still carefully testing and understanding the work What we are not looking for: - A full site redesign - Creative reinterpretation of the entire site - Someone who prefers to “do it their way” rather than follow provided brand/design direction - Someone who overcomplicates simple requests - Someone who makes technical changes without testing or communicating clearly Project structure: - Initial batch of clearly defined tasks - Ongoing, ad-hoc work as we continue refining and maintaining the site - Occasional support for related WordPress/Divi sites and landing pages - Potential for broader ongoing website support if the fit is strong Helpful additional experience: - HTML / CSS - Basic JavaScript or PHP troubleshooting - WordPress plugin updates and troubleshooting - Forms and tracking QA - HubSpot forms or tracking - GA4 / Google Tag Manager - Microsoft Clarity - Kinsta, Cloudflare, or WP Rocket - AI-assisted workflow tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar If you enjoy precision work, visual cleanup, WordPress troubleshooting, and helping websites feel polished, consistent, on-brand, and well-maintained, this will be a great fit.
