Full-Stack Developer for Long-Term, Full-Time Dedicated Role — Fitness/Social Platform Startup

I'm building a ios/android app in the competitive fitness space — think structured performance tracking, video-verified achievement submissions, and ranking/leaderboard systems, with some social features layered on top. I'm now looking for the right long-term developer to help build it. This is not a one-off project — I'm hiring one dedicated, full-time developer to work with me on an ongoing basis as the product grows, not someone completing a fixed-scope job and moving on. What I'm looking for: -Someone available full-time (30–40 hrs/week), exclusively dedicated to this project during contracted hours — not juggling multiple concurrent clients -Comfortable with a daily check-in (short written update or call) — this is a requirement, not a suggestion -Someone who wants a genuine long-term working relationship, ideally becoming the technical backbone of the product as it scales — not someone looking for a quick contract to complete and close out Required Skills & Experience: -Strong full-stack development experience (frontend + backend), able to own features end-to-end rather than needing constant task breakdowns -Experience designing and scaling relational databases for applications with complex filtering/querying needs (e.g., systems with many user-facing filters or segmented views) -Experience handling video upload, storage, and processing/streaming at a consumer-app scale -Experience building or integrating user authentication, profile systems, and content moderation/admin tooling -Experience with apps that involve user-generated content requiring moderation/review workflows
