Former CTO / Staff Engineer to conduct one 90-min technical leadership interview (live)

We are a Berlin-based team hiring a senior engineer who would take broad technical ownership (potential CTO-level role: architecture, platform, team build-up). Before we decide, we want ONE independent, rigorous technical assessment by someone who has operated at that level themselves. SCOPE (one-off engagement): - 90-minute live remote interview (English) with our candidate, within the next 3 days - Coverage: (1) hands-on coding exercise (~30 min, CoderPad link provided by us), (2) system design and architecture trade-offs (~35 min - designing a multi-tenant web platform with AI/LLM components), (3) engineering leadership depth-probing on the CV (~25 min - past architecture decisions, build-vs-buy, scaling, team building) - Deliverable: structured written scorecard within 24h - per-area ratings, concrete evidence/quotes, strengths, red flags, and a clear hire / no-hire / hire-with-reservations recommendation - We provide: candidate CV, role context one-pager, scorecard template, CoderPad session YOU MUST HAVE: - 8+ years engineering experience, with time as CTO, Head of Engineering, Staff+ or Principal - Real interviewing experience (tell us roughly how many technical interviews you have conducted) - Availability for a 90-min slot within the next 3 days (CET-compatible) - Fluent English; German is a plus but not required Fixed price - please quote for the complete package (interview + written scorecard).
