Hi everyone — we are looking to hire a Philippines-based VA / Operations & Marketing Coordinator for a growing tech/startup business.
This is not a traditional “task-only” VA role.
I’m looking for someone who can come in, organize the chaos, build the operating rhythm, help drive marketing and lead generation, and eventually grow into a leadership role as the business scales.
If you are looking for a simple checklist job where every task is handed to you one by one, this probably is not the right fit.
If you are confident, proactive, organized, tech-savvy, and want to bet on yourself in a growth position, this may be a strong fit.
Role Overview
You will support the founder across:
- Marketing operations
- Lead generation
- Outreach support
- CRM and prospect tracking
- Client coordination
- Project / dev build status tracking
- Internal documentation
- Weekly reporting
- Business operations
The goal is to help create and run the marketing and business development engine, not just “assist” with random admin work.
I’m in full founder mode and need someone who can take ownership.
You should be able to:
- Understand the goal
- Create a plan
- Present the plan for approval
- Execute without needing constant supervision
- Report clearly on progress, blockers, and results
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Marketing Operations
- Organize content ideas, drafts, and assets
- Build and maintain a content calendar
- Schedule and publish content
- Coordinate basic marketing assets
- Help turn founder ideas into usable marketing material
- Keep marketing execution moving consistently
Lead Generation Support
- Research prospects
- Build lead lists
- Find contact information
- Maintain CRM data
- Track leads and outreach status
- Identify potential opportunities
Outreach Support
- Support outbound campaigns
- Organize prospect data
- Track follow-ups
- Monitor responses
- Keep outreach activity organized and visible
Operations / Coordination
- Track project and dev build status
- Help coordinate client-related updates
- Maintain internal documentation
- Organize tasks and priorities
- Prepare weekly reports
- Help keep the business from becoming scattered
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
Within the first 90 days, I would expect:
- Marketing systems are organized
- Content is publishing consistently
- Prospect research is running smoothly
- Lead tracking is reliable
- Outreach follow-up is organized
- Discovery conversations are being generated
- Project/client status is easier to see
- Founder workload is reduced
- Weekly reporting is clear and useful

You do not need to know every tool, but experience with some of these is helpful:

- Notion, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Airtable, or similar
- LinkedIn research
- Lead list building
- Email/outreach tracking
- Social media scheduling
- Content calendars
- Basic AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, etc.
- Startup, SaaS, tech, agency, or software company environments
Compensation
Starting compensation:
PHP 25,000/month
Paid twice per month.
This is the starting point, not the ceiling.
This role is intentionally designed as a growth position. I am looking for someone who wants to grow with the business and increase responsibility over time.
Target growth path:
- Start: PHP 25,000/month
- 6 months: target PHP 50,000/month
- 12 months: target PHP 80,000/month
- 18 months: target PHP 120,000/month
- 24 months: target PHP 200,000/month
These increases are tied to performance, ownership, business contribution, reliability, and company growth.
This is not a guaranteed automatic raise schedule. It is the intended growth path for the right person who helps create real business value.

Long-Term Opportunity
This is not meant to stay a basic VA role forever.
Potential growth path:
Virtual Assistant / Operations Support
→ Operations & Marketing Coordinator
→ Marketing & Operations Manager
→ Executive Operations
→ Chief of Staff / Operations Leadership
Revenue share / profit sharing may begin after 12 months based on an agreed framework, performance, and business contribution.
I want someone who is willing to bet on themselves and help build something, not someone who only wants a fixed task list and a fixed ceiling.
