We are building Itanera — a premium Morocco travel platform focused on programmatic SEO landing pages, reusable templates, and a structured multi-step travel request form.
Programmatic SEO is our core growth and revenue engine. The quality, speed, and SEO integrity of these pages directly influence the commercial performance of the platform, so precision and performance in this part of the implementation matter more than anywhere else in the codebase.
This is a well-defined implementation project. The database architecture, SEO data model, lead-routing model, webhook/idempotency structure, Figma blueprint, clickable prototype, and QA boundaries are being prepared by a senior database architect, UX/UI designer, and SEO specialist. Your role is application implementation in Next.js / Node.js / TypeScript — not database architecture.
Scope Note
This is a Phase 1 public-facing MVP: data-driven pages, reusable frontend components, a four-step lead form, lead submission and webhook handling, multilingual-ready routing and components, and production deployment/launch readiness. Content launches in English only, but the platform must be multilingual-ready from day one across routing, metadata, forms, and core components. No additional product modules are included unless explicitly listed below.
The frontend covers five core page templates — landing, itinerary, country, region/zone, and attraction/content — plus the four-step form and its post-submit confirmation flow.
Required Technical Profile
• Strong Next.js / React experience
• Strong Node.js / TypeScript experience
• Solid PostgreSQL understanding
• Experience with database views, constraints, and avoiding N+1 queries
• Experience with webhooks and HMAC SHA256 validation
• Experience with multi-step forms, validation, and clean frontend state handling
• Tailwind CSS, Shadcn, or similar component-based UI experience
• GitHub Pull Request workflow
• Clean, disciplined implementation style
What Will Already Be Provided
The database architect will provide the PostgreSQL/PostGIS schema, idempotent DDL, seed data, Docker setup, predefined views including vw_seo_landing_pages, lead-routing and webhook/idempotency structure, database triggers for status/audit logging, a locale/URL routing specification (path structure, canonical slugs, hreflang, and fallback rules), an Architectural Decision Log, and technical QA review.
The UX/UI designer will provide approved Figma templates and components for all five page types, the four-step form, and the post-submit flow.
Milestone Structure & Payments
Total development timeline: 4 weeks (20 business days).
Estimated workload: approximately 100 hours across the four-week delivery period.
Milestone 1 — Developer Kickoff & Webhook Integrity — $600 (3 days)
Set up the Next.js / Node.js / TypeScript application against the provided PostgreSQL/PostGIS database and Docker environment. Implement the inbound CRM webhook endpoint with HMAC SHA256 signature validation against the raw payload, event logging, payload hash handling, and idempotency protection using the provided database structure, correctly handling duplicate retries.
Milestone 2 — SEO Routing, i18n Setup & Page Rendering — $700 (5 days)
Implement Next.js dynamic routing and page-type resolution, with structural page shells for the five page types, multilingual-ready routing, locale-aware metadata, and server-side data fetching. Read destination/marketing data directly from vw_seo_landing_pages, and integrate itinerary and content page data. Implement SEO titles/descriptions, canonical and hreflang handling, slugs, English fallback rules, and missing-page and fallback states, while avoiding N+1 query patterns. Since page speed drives our pSEO strategy, the implementation must be optimized to meet Google's "Good" Core Web Vitals thresholds (LCP under 2.5s, INP under 200ms, CLS under 0.1) and a mobile Lighthouse score of 85+ on agreed representative pages under agreed test conditions using production-like content.
Milestone 3 — Figma Component Mapping — $700 (5 days)
Translate the approved Figma blueprint, Auto Layout structure, and design tokens into clean, reusable, responsive components using Tailwind-friendly styling and consistent spacing/typography. Hardcoded UI text must be externalized into translation dictionaries.
Milestone 4 — Multi-Step Lead Form & Lead Submission — $700 (4 days)
Implement the four-step form based on the Figma prototype and defined logic: all required fields/options, adult/child/infant counters, validation, conditional form logic, context-aware pre-filled values, back/continue navigation (Back disabled on Step 1), localizable labels and error messages, lead payload creation, database write flow, outbound CRM submission per the integration spec, and frontend loading/success/error states with a post-submit summary and clear next-step expectations.
Milestone 5 — Final QA, Production Verification & Launch Readiness — $800 (3 days)
Resolve QA findings against the agreed acceptance criteria and ensure launch readiness: deployment support, environment variable validation, production database connection checks, webhook signature testing, webhook retry and idempotency testing, schema integrity confirmation, trigger/audit-log testing, final SEO routing checks, canonical/hreflang verification, localization dictionary verification, form submission testing, basic performance review, and responsive QA across key templates. Scope includes one staging deployment, one production deployment on the agreed infrastructure, and clean handoff notes. Ongoing DevOps, infrastructure administration, monitoring, content production, and post-launch feature development are excluded.
Payment for each milestone is released only after the relevant GitHub Pull Request has been reviewed and approved, including database architect approval where applicable.
Collaborative QA Model
You will work in a clean GitHub PR workflow with our senior database architect. Reviews focus on clean database integration, correct use of predefined views, avoiding N+1 queries, protecting schema integrity, correct webhook validation, correct idempotency handling, and compliance with agreed architectural boundaries. Database and backend PRs should be small and focused so they can be reviewed efficiently.
What I Am Looking For
A senior developer who can execute cleanly from a defined blueprint in a peer-to-peer technical collaboration — without redesigning the database, replacing the agreed architecture, introducing unnecessary abstractions, or expanding the scope.
Please Include in Your Proposal
1. Why you are a good fit for this stack and the multilingual-ready architecture requirement.
2. Relevant Next.js and PostgreSQL examples.
3. Your experience with webhooks and HMAC SHA256 validation.
4. Your experience with dynamic SEO or data-driven page generation.
5. Confirmation that you are comfortable working through GitHub PRs reviewed by a senior database architect.
Please keep your proposal concise and specific.
