Senior Full-Stack Engineer (TypeScript) — Healthtech Product Team | Long-Term, Full-Time

Description We’re a growing healthtech company building AI-powered clinical tools that help healthcare providers spend less time on documentation and admin, and more time with patients. We’re hiring a full-time, long-term Full-Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll work across multiple TypeScript product repos in a similar stack: modern React/Next.js frontends, serverless Node APIs on AWS, and LLM-powered workflows in real clinical environments. If you like owning features end-to-end, shipping quickly with high standards, and building product that clinicians actually use, we’d love to talk. What you’ll do - Build and ship features across frontend, backend, and shared libraries - Work on AI-assisted clinical workflows (generation, editing, templates, integrations) - Design and maintain serverless APIs and cloud infrastructure Collaborate daily with the engineering team in standups and async communication - Improve reliability, UX, testing, and maintainability as we scale - Occasionally integrate with third-party clinical systems and embeddable product surfaces Stack you’ll use Frontend - TypeScript, React, Next.js - Tailwind CSS, modern component libraries (e.g. Radix) TanStack Query - AWS Amplify (client/auth patterns) Backend & cloud - Node.js + TypeScript - AWS Lambda - AWS CDK - DynamoDB, S3, SQS (and related AWS services) AI LLM APIs (OpenAI / Anthropic) - Vercel AI SDK or similar tooling - Prompting + structured outputs Quality & process - Vitest / Testing Library - Strong TypeScript practices - CI/CD, monitoring/observability (e.g. Sentry) - Monorepo familiarity a plus Must-haves - Strong full-stack TypeScript experience (React/Next.js + Node APIs) - Comfortable with AWS serverless (Lambda + DynamoDB at minimum) - Experience owning features end-to-end in production - Clear written and spoken English for remote collaboration - Overlap availability: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern, every workday- non-negotiable - Able to join daily standups with the engineering team during that window Nice-to-haves - Healthtech / healthcare / EHR experience - Prior LLM / AI product work - AWS CDK depth - Experience with embeddable widgets, iframes, or third-party integrations - Startup or small-team shipping experience Engagement details - Full-time (~20-40 hrs/week) - Long-term ongoing contract - Remote - Core hours overlap: 8am–12pm ET required - Daily engineering standups - Work across multiple related product repos for the same company Why this role - Real product impact in healthtech serving a large customer base - Modern TypeScript + AWS + AI stack - Growing company with expanding product surface - Ownership and long-term partnership, not one-off tickets To apply, please include - A short note on why this role is a fit - Links to 1–2 relevant projects (Next.js, AWS serverless, or AI preferred) - Confirmation you can work 8am–12pm Eastern daily and attend standups - Weekly availability / expected start date We’re hiring carefully.
