Full-Stack Web Developer to Build a Standalone Course/Education Website (Next.js + Headless CMS) Overview We are building a standalone online education site from an existing set of crypto and blockchain courses. The course content is already written and already translated into the first launch language. We have a starter codebase and design for the new site, generated with an AI coding tool. We need a full-stack developer to take that starter to production: complete and harden it, migrate the existing content into it, deploy it, and launch the first-language version on its own domain. The current site runs on WordPress. We are moving off WordPress to a modern, scalable stack. The new site must be fully standalone, with its own accounts and login, and no integration with any of our other systems. What you will build (first release) Course, chapter, and lesson structure, with quizzes and certificates on completion. User registration and login. Course content sits behind sign-up. Learner dashboard: course progress, started and favorite lessons, podcast, and certificates. A progress bar per lesson and per course. Social sharing of progress and milestones. A CMS our non-technical team can use to add and edit courses, lessons, media, and translations without a developer. Multi-language architecture. Translate a string once and reuse it everywhere. The first language is already prepared. One-time migration of the existing content from WordPress into the new system. SEO-friendly setup for public pages. Mobile first, built for mid-range Android. Tech (open to your recommendation) The starter is built on a modern stack, along the lines of Next.js (React) on the frontend with a self-hosted headless CMS such as Strapi, PostgreSQL, deployed with autoscaling behind a CDN. We will share the exact stack with shortlisted applicants. We own all source code and the database outright, with full handover documentation. Must have Strong React / Next.js and Node. Headless CMS experience (Strapi or similar). Shipped multi-language sites with a real translation workflow, not just a language switcher. Content migration experience. WordPress export / REST API is a plus. Authentication, and comfort with performance on low-end Android. Can deploy, and leave clean documentation for handover.
