Agenda P3 Execution System - Senior Full-Stack Developer

Thank you We are building a tablet-first hotel operations platform used daily by frontline staff, supervisors, and managers. The core of the platform is our Agenda execution system, which governs task completion, accountability, approvals, and audit history. This role is for Phase 3 of Agenda — a fixed-scope, execution-focused phase. This is not a rebuild, not an architecture rewrite, and not an open-ended feature expansion. The system already exists. Your responsibility is to strengthen, unify, and finalize execution behavior so Agenda operates as a reliable, scalable operational engine. ⸻ What Phase 3 Covers You will work within an explicitly defined scope, including: Agenda Execution Enhancements • Finalize task execution flow (start → in progress → complete → approve / reject) • Clarify behavior when tasks are rejected (task-level failure with Agenda implications) • Ensure execution state is consistent across Agenda, Approvals, and History • Add task numbering / identifiers to support auditability and drill-downs Agenda Metadata & Structure • Enforce position-based assignment and visibility (roles are deprecated) • Display position and department consistently across Agenda views • Add Agenda versioning (visible in management and list views) • Improve Agenda list tables to surface meaningful operational context Review & Approval UX • Add visual status indicators (“bubbles”) per task in approval views • Improve supervisor clarity on what passed, failed, or requires attention • Ensure approval screens are tablet-friendly and readable at a glance Execution UX (Tablet-First) • Optimize for 10” tablets as primary execution device • Maintain desktop usability; provide guarded mobile (≤768px) behavior • Follow strict device guardrails (execution ≠ admin) • Ensure real-time UI feedback without full page reloads Governance & Discipline • All work via pull requests • No scope expansion • No backend rewrites • No feature invention outside the approved scope • Any risks or discoveries must be surfaced, not silently fixed ⸻ Explicitly Out of Scope • New modules • Task swapping / sharing between teammates • Major menu redesigns • Permissions system redesign • Video conferencing • Chat expansion • Reporting dashboards • AI features (Those are planned for later phases and intentionally excluded.) ⸻ Who This Is For You are a strong fit if you: • Are comfortable working in existing production systems • Respect fixed scope and execution discipline • Think in terms of operations, accountability, and audit trails • Have shipped systems used daily by non-technical staff • Can improve UX without destabilizing logic This role requires judgment, not just coding. ⸻ Skills Required Required • PHP (CodeIgniter or similar MVC framework) • MySQL • JavaScript / jQuery • HTML / CSS (responsive, tablet-first UX) • RESTful backend integration • Git (PR-based workflow) Strongly Preferred • Experience building operational or workflow software • Tablet-first or kiosk-style UX experience • Role/position-based task systems • Audit logs, approvals, or compliance systems • Performance optimization in legacy codebases ⸻ Contract Structure • Fixed-price • Milestone-based • Clearly defined acceptance criteria • No hourly billing
