Front-End Developer / UI-UX Modernization Consultant for SaaS Platform

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer and UI/UX Consultant to review our existing SaaS platform, Subscriptionist, and provide recommendations for modernizing the user interface, user experience, and overall visual design. Subscriptionist is a subscription and vendor management platform designed for CFOs, Controllers, and business leaders to manage software subscriptions, vendor contracts, spend optimization, and financial reporting. We are looking for someone who can evaluate our current application, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide a roadmap and potentially implementation support for a modern, scalable, enterprise-grade user experience. About the Project Our platform currently includes: Dashboard and analytics views Vendor subscription management Contract management Spend reporting and categorization User administration and permissions AI-driven insights and recommendations Financial reporting tools We would like a fresh perspective on how to improve the platform's usability, navigation, responsiveness, design consistency, and overall customer experience. Scope of Work Phase 1 – Platform Review & Recommendations Review the current Subscriptionist platform Evaluate UI/UX consistency and usability Assess navigation and workflow efficiency Review mobile and responsive design experience Identify opportunities to modernize the visual design Benchmark against leading SaaS platforms Provide recommendations for: Information architecture Dashboard improvements User workflows Design system improvements Accessibility enhancements Mobile responsiveness Modern SaaS UI trends Deliverables Written assessment report Prioritized list of recommendations Wireframes or mockups for key screens Suggested technology and design stack improvements Effort estimate for implementation Phase 2 (Optional) Depending on the outcome of Phase 1, we may engage the selected candidate to: Redesign the platform Develop updated front-end components Implement a modern design system Improve responsiveness and performance Assist with ongoing UI/UX improvements Required Experience Strong experience building modern SaaS applications Expertise in React, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks UI/UX design experience Experience creating enterprise software interfaces Strong portfolio demonstrating SaaS dashboards and business applications Ability to provide both strategic recommendations and hands-on implementation Preferred Qualifications Experience with FinTech, ERP, Procurement, Spend Management, or Accounting software Experience designing applications for CFOs, Controllers, and Finance teams Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus
