Full-Stack Web Developer (React + Python with FastAPI | Typescript TailwindCSS)

📍 Remote | Virtual Office Environment ⏳ Part-time (10–20 hours/week) | Starting at $4–6/hr About the Role We’re looking for a highly motivated and skilled Web Developer to join our small but driven team, working alongside a senior developer to help build and launch our MVP. You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing features to life using our existing architecture and tech stack. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a startup environment, values clean and scalable code, and is excited to build with intention. What You’ll Do Review all existing code and UI to fully understand the product and use cases Use Figma designs to build and ship features Write clean, modular, and well-documented code Build responsive UI components using React + Tailwind Develop secure and scalable backend APIs with FastAPI Work with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy to manage data operations Communicate regularly with team including senior developer and devops, attend daily standups, attend weekly demos, and work independently in a virtual office environment What We’re Looking For ✔️ A developer who has great attention to detail skills and is a critical & analytical thinker ✔️ Strong emphasis on testing your work and testing edge cases ✔️ Proficiency in React + Next.js and component-based frontend architecture ✔️ Strong Python skills with deep experience in FastAPI ✔️ Comfortable working with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy ✔️ Solid understanding of JWT authentication flows ✔️ Ability to write maintainable, modular, and scalable code ✔️ Effective communicator and async team player ✔️ Self-starter who can manage tasks and time independently ✔️ Interest in long-term growth within a startup environment Compensation & Growth 💰 Starting Rate: $4–6/hr (with performance-based raises) 📆 Commitment: 10–20 hours/week to start 🚀 Growth: Opportunity for increased hours, leadership, and deeper product ownership over time This isn’t just a freelance gig—it’s a chance to grow with a startup from the ground floor and leave your mark on something real.
