Laravel PHP Full-Stack Developer (Remote)

Overview We are looking for an experienced Laravel PHP Full-Stack Developer to join our team on a remote, hourly basis. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys building, maintaining, and improving web applications while writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code. As part of our hiring process, applicants should be comfortable participating in an initial screening interview. Shortlisted candidates will then move on to a final interview with our leadership team. Position: Laravel PHP Full-Stack Developer Location: Remote Employment Type: Hourly Contract (Long-Term Potential) Rate: USD $8/hour Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel. Build responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies. Develop and maintain REST APIs. Design and optimize MySQL database structures and queries. Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues efficiently. Optimize application performance and security. Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement new features. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices. Use Git for version control and collaborative development. Required Skills Strong experience with PHP and the Laravel framework. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience working with MySQL databases. Understanding of MVC architecture. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Git and GitHub. Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues. Strong attention to detail. Good written and spoken English communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Vue.js or React. Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap. Experience deploying Laravel applications. Familiarity with Linux server environments.
